Alexis Griffis

Associate Attorney

Alexis Griffis was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. She moved to New Orleans in 2016 to pursue her legal education and decided to remain in New Orleans after realizing there was no place quite like it.

Meet Alexis.

Prior to attending law school, Alexis graduated from Brevard College, in Brevard, North Carolina where she obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Business and Organizational Leadership. While at Brevard College, Alexis played on the Women’s Soccer team for four years and was named to the South-Atlantic Conference and All-Conference Women’s Soccer Team.

Alexis received her Juris Doctor and a certificate in Social Justice from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in 2019. During law school, Alexis interned at the Charleston County Public Defender and Orleans Public Defender Office. While interning, she learned the importance of client-centered legal representation and as a result, she is dedicated to maintaining the same standard for current and future clients.

Alexis is licensed to practice in Louisiana and New York. Alexis joined Forrest, Cressy, and James as an associate attorney in August 2020.
