BYRON M. FORREST
Byron Forrest's practice is dedicated to civil litigation. This includes all types of litigation. However, the majority of his practice is devoted to representing plaintiffs in personal injury cases and injured workers against their employers and their employers' insurance companies.
Mr. Forrest has recovered well in excess of $10,000,000.00 for his clients, and has been invited for inclusion in the exclusive Multi-Million Dollar Advocate Forum.

A sixth-generation Texan, Byron relocated to New Orleans from San Antonio after a stint in Washington D.C., where he worked for a government contractor and provided logistical support to U.S. Treasury Department financial advisors located in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Lebanon, Senegal, and the Dominican Republic.
As a member of the First Battalion, First Marine Regiment, Byron served as an infantryman from 2002 to 2006, traveled to Africa, all over Asia to include Iraq, and Australia, and was then honorably discharged at the rank of corporal. In December 2009, Byron graduated from the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio with a Bachelor of Arts degree in international studies. While there he was a founding member of the Student Veterans Association and served as that organization’s first secretary.
Loyola’s College of Law awarded him a Juris doctorate degree in 2013. While there, Byron co-founded and served as the first president of the Veterans Advocacy Legal Society. In that capacity, Byron assisted with the development of recurring and free legal clinics for veterans in New Orleans. He is also an active member, former long-standing Judge Advocate, and current trustee, of the local Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8973.
Byron also serves on the board of Team 8973 and is on the local steering committee of Nextop, a nonprofit that helps veterans translate their exceptional military training into successful civilian careers. Byron founded the Forrest Law Firm, LLC, in November of 2016 which is certified by the Louisiana Veterans First Business Initiative as a Louisiana Veteran Owned Business.
